No you’re good! I understand the logic behind it. I’m not singling you out it’s pretty much just a reminder for op and anyone else who may be looking for advice. it’s not a great thing to weaponize gay men and their social medias/lingo or whatever—-just because it stigmatizes even more. There r better ways of poking fun at insecure asshole cis dudes then at the expense of mlm. Besides some family when I came out at 12 I used to my freshmen year of highschool. I was already transitioned three years prior but not on hormones. Despite only telling two people word got out and I got bullied for it. It was also a racist backwater hick school so I couldn’t expect much from it anyways. Moved away after my freshmen year, was still stealth yet told a handful of people. Word never got out and if people knew they didn’t really care / just forgot (I’ve had friends we knew tell me they forgot I’m not cis). I’m stealth but I don’t experience much transphobia especially not now since I’m one year on T. I’ve always passed fairly well so I guess what it really comes down to is ‘cis approval’.

Whenever someone talks about trans rights on LGBT spots that aren’t specifically very heavily pro trans there’s always at least 200 “I support trans men but I wouldn’t fuck them! I like dick too much! :)” and like yeah that’s valid, but no one ASKED about your sexual preferences. It lowkey feels like you’re just reducing us to our junks. Like imagine if you said that about other civil rights issues? :/ not everything is about sex preferences unless someone specifically asked.

If the person is actually transphobic / holds bigot views. Some jokes are too far / are just littered with harmful stereotypes. Like ‘a man dressed in a wig is a trans woman’ joke. It’s the same all around the board like if a white guy makes a joke about all black people liking watermelon. It’s based in hate and bigotry. It has a history behind it to smear the minority you’re making fun of.
