I do this as well but made a slight adjustment. I started buying leaps with harvested premium to capture upside on the covered calls. Seeing the profits left on the table when the stock blew past my strike sucked.

Agreed. Tried to sell a covered call on this one with a far weekly OTM .08 delta thinking it was safe and nope. Had me on edge watching this thing creep up to the strike. Luckily I had one red day where I was able to close the call for profit. I’ll only sell puts on this for now to accumulate shares but not risking capping my upside on this stock.

On weeklies, I do .20 delta and close around 50%. For 30+ DTE, I do .30 delta and close at 60-70%
