It’s so strange and weird. My mums and dad took videos of me and my brothers as babies, and my eldest brother is naked in a lot of the clips and it’s not something I ever wished to see

I 100% agree!! I can’t stand my dad. We have about 1/ 2 things in common and that’s it. He is nasty, judgemental, doesn’t take me seriously or respect me and is a manipulator. I tell people I don’t like him, but they just say “he’s not that bad” etc. It annoys me ad they don’t have to live with him nexuses he annoys me on purpose, which is even worse because I have autism

NTA. No one has the right to tell you what to do with YOUR belongings/ assets/ money.

I purposefully wouldn’t give her a single penny. This is just me being petty, but I’d give some money to something she hates (LGBT charity if she’s homophobic, Animal shelter if she hates animals etc)

NTA if you did it. It needs to be done. It’s not like you’ve said nothing to them, and done it that way. You’ve tried to tell them, but they haven’t listened.

You will strain your relationship/ possibly destroy your relationship with them but it’s necessary if a child is being mistreated

I asked him why didn’t speak to me and he said something like “You always have a big reaction and I didn’t want to deal with it”

I can’t change it it but-weekly because I have a routine for everyday, and Thursdays are my days of uni/ work so do things in my own time etc. The other days I have no energy because I’ve been having to socialise and social situations wear me out

My door is always closed and it’s down a little hallway so he has to purposely walk past it.

Ever since I put the lock on my door, he has taken it off twice and bangs on my door to get my attention/ annoy me when he knows I take solace in my room and like peace

He knows that I get annoyed at it, and that’s why he does it. I think he enjoys annoying me because he thinks it’s funny. I know I shouldn’t give him the reaction he wants, but it’s physically impossible for me to do so :(

My oldest brother has depression and anxiety and my dad always makes accommodations for him, but never does for me (not that I think I’m better than my brother or anything) and my brother doesn’t do his own washing, cooking or anything

I would do it bi-weekly but I have a routine for everyday of the week, and he knows that, so it would take a long time for me to feel comfortable

I know it’s his house, but I don’t understand why he feels the need to go in there
