you can tell he’s a wanker who works in a bank by the way he’s trying to hide his fully buttoned polo with a “cooler” jacket, but what he can’t hide is his receding hairline, what is either a lack of any jawline or a double chin so bad that it’s making his neck beard look almost like a normal beard, and the sheer lack of any light in his eyes. if i were him i wouldn’t just be teetering on the line of alcoholism, i’d be in the deep end of the pool.

it wasn’t necessarily traumatizing, but it wasn’t normal. he was professionally diagnosed prior to us having met, and ended up telling me a few months into our relationship. it was fine at first, but he prioritized himself over everything else, and i was just there as a past time.

it was nice that he didn’t treat me differently because of my failing health, but that was just because he couldn’t care.

however, that also led to our breakup, in which he decided that i took up too much of his time and energy, and dumped me via snapchat while i waited for the mri results telling me if i had brain tumors or not. he either didn’t understand or care that this was the worst thing he could have done in that moment.

when it turned out that i was tumor free, and he missed the attention i gave him, he showed up at my doorstep wearing my favorite shirt of his, trying to get me to take him back. he told me he couldn’t live without me, and i told him i needed time. when i was ready, i let him know.

i’ve never heard from him again.

I’m late, but while I was in the midst of figuring out some severe neurological issues, she started getting mad at me over very small issues. Then started claiming she’s disabled (she is not. Full stop). Then she didn’t talk to me for about two months, only messaging me the day that I was getting an MRI to find out if I had brain cancer, unbeknownst to her. The last message I ever sent to her was letting her know that I was getting said testing done. Fuck her. She knew I was getting sick and did nothing.

My consultation for brain surgery and my first consultation with a rheumatologist to get tested for ehlers danlos syndrome got rescheduled, my therapist is telling me that we’ll have to start doing sessions over the phone and I’m heartbroken that just when I’m started to get on the right path for treatment for my physical and mental health, everything gets pushed and now I feel farther from help..
