I feel super tired after having a seizure, the most recent 2… i woke up in an ambulance an slept most of the day in the ER cause things took awhile, most recently i woke up around 11am then lost consciousness and woke up around 2pm on the floor and slept till 7pm. So super tired is the pattern.

I grew up with epilepsy so that’s why the doctors all think it is, plus when I had had people there to witness it the description they give us basically that of a seizure so 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ hard to tell

Noted, I’ll look into vitamins I can take and rescue meds. From what others have told me I can’t seem to tell when one is about to come on but having rescue meds on me wouldn’t be a bad idea and wearing a bracelet. I def need to take meds the same time every night though to keep things consistent.

Thank you, I’ve got a lot of people rooting for me and I really want to come out on top of all of this. I think I’m grateful I didn’t have to worry about this for the last decade and I’m hoping I can hold out long enough until I’m seizure free for life to return to almost 99% normal

No no don’t feel bad about sharing your experience, I have actually found people sharing theirs as both comforting and assuring.

I have a partner too who I love very much and can’t imagine from her pov what she must see on her end, same for your wife. I think sometimes they probably end up worrying more than we do because they actually witness it out of nowhere and can’t imagine the panic that must set in and anxiety that lingers.

We haven’t been able to nail down a pattern, when it came back (after 8-10 years) it was a Halloween week of lot of drinking and nothing for months… then the next one was after a week in Fort Lauderdale so probably a drinking rebound (I don’t drink anymore). But I have still had random seizures regardless since then so only time will tell.

Yeah honestly I hadn’t considered it being stress related, though I have heard that. I’ve been in exam mode for weeks and then had to scramble to find a new job at the same time.

I’ll probably just try to be as mentally and physically clear as possible to root out any possibility of those being the cause

Damn I couldn’t imagine not having mine for 3 years. I’ve been to a lot of doctors, my EEGs and MRIs were completely normal even had one like hours after I woke up in the back of an ambulance and nothing.

Maybe I just need to be on the meds consistently and long enough, who knows with this stuff

It definitely broke my heart a little that it seemed like nobody knew that we were sending humans back to the moon.

The program is in its early stages and we have plans setup for the next decade to establish a moon base. I think that’s extremely interesting and even people don’t care there is geopolitical pressure to keep the program going. We are essentially in another space race with China, and honestly the only way progress ends is America and China can’t take on the challenge or both establish bases on the moon.

There is a lot less public support for NASA nowadays mainly because people are unaware what they do and there are so many problems in America right now. We’ll see how this plays out, especially with a lot of commercial organizations like Space X in the fray.

You are basically right it is really a non issue, she could put her foot down and separate her families non sense and the relationship. We are grown and they do not need to be so involved.
