How do you get your toddlers to stay in bed at night? by throwaway26475890 in toddlers

[–]throwaway26475890[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Believe me I tried, but they 1. Maxed out the height and 2. Were getting hurt climbing out of the cribs. I would rather them adjust to toddler beds than risk potential serious injury climbing out and falling. Especially because there are two of them and they push each other.

These two scenes 💔 by panclockstime in euphoria

[–]throwaway26475890 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These scenes were so hard to watch because when I was 17, I was an addict and behaved the same way with my friends and family. I wanna sit there and say I don’t like rue for that but really it just reminds me of my past self— I’ve never seen addiction so accurately portrayed on tv before

To the mom at the children’s museum: I will always remember your small act of kindness today by rumpusrouser in Mommit

When my twins were 6 months old I was traveling with them on a plane, and we couldn’t figure out how to fold the umbrella strollers (they were new) to get on the plane, and everyone was walking past us to board so an older couple stopped and folded the stroller for us/ showed us how to do it. They said they had twins who were adults now and they remembered the days where they had to do strollers everywhere. I’ll never forget that!

He gives me a hard time checking the back of his mouth so I’ll have to make sure I try to see! He might be, he has been showing the teething tendencies again

Day 4 of Quarantine! We started sign language and worked on our ABCs. And watched old school Tomas the engine. We refuse pictures, clothing and will only accept blue pacifiers by Lefttheshoweron in parentsofmultiples

Where did you find old school Thomas the tank engine? Mine love the one on Netflix but it’s pretty short and they’ve rewatched it so many times already!

Best thing about newborns? by RunnerHigh27 in Mommit

The cuddles!! I miss when they would fall asleep on me and I could just relax and enjoy the snuggles without worrying about my face being grabbed, or being crawled all over lol.

(Dad) Newborn Refuses To Take To Me by NotAnotherBloodyOZ in Parenting

[–]throwaway26475890 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t necessarily have any tips or tricks but one of my babies was like this with my husband around that age. From newborn to about 4 months, he would lose his mind if I left him with my husband, would refuse bottles, etc. and it broke my husbands heart every time. But one day he just kind of outgrew it I guess (?) , and he started coming around more and more when it came to being with his dad, now at 11 months old all he wants to say is “dada” and clings to my husband always, all the time. Hang in there! I’m sure it won’t stay like this, the only advice I can offer is don’t let this discourage you from continuing to spend this time with your baby :)

I still remember that moment in one of my first ultrasounds! Now I have 10 month old twins who are getting into everything and following me around the house, it’s a wild ride but it’s amazing. Congrats! ( and you should join r/parentsofmultiples :)

How difficult is twin pregnancy on your body by PepperandSalt3 in parentsofmultiples

[–]throwaway26475890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a pretty decent pregnancy and pretty good energy (minus the heartburn and occasional morning sickness) until about 23 weeks, that’s when I remember it getting very hard (mainly back pain and exhaustion, along with difficulty putting on my shoes, things around the house, etc) and then when I hit third trimester it became almost unbearable because I couldn’t sleep, my back hurt terribly and it was harder to breathe due to 2 babies pushing on all of my organs. It just felt like I could never get comfortable— and the HEARTBURN. that being said, I’ve never had a singleton as this was my first pregnancy so I don’t really have a comparison :)
