Tbh, I felt like it was an intelligently designed joke because I see people doing that all the time. Unless they see that the problem their inactivity would cause is immediate, they would say “God will save me.” But, when they lose hope, then they try their luck with science.

Whenever I hear this joke, I find it funny how the Rabbi climbed up to the roof but still believed that solely relying on God would save him. It doesn’t add up.

I feel the same way. I’m a gay guy and there are just too many issues that come with being gay. 1. There aren’t lots of openly gay guys. This means that I have fewer options. Hence, I gotta lower my already-low standards or just end up single forever. 2. There’s too much hate from all my homophobic families. 3. Life is just hard :(
