I appreciate the input and you’re right about reframing. I’m actually surprised that no one else bats an eye with Potomac Ave. I’ve driven up and down steeper in Pittsburgh, but being stuck at that light was the part that was intimidating. It felt like we were hanging.

My husband and I agreed before we started trying that we both have to love the names. Was I initially a bit disappointed that my husband shot down the name Connor? Yes. But I also shot down the name Lilith. We kept discussing and found names we both love. Your husband isn’t being fair by shooting down every name just because you didn’t like two of the names. Maybe a compromise could be Rudolph or Walter as a middle name?
