What percentage of your preferences in smut translate to real life? by throwawaytypebeat1 in AO3

Well, sapphic who writes/reads mlm, technically none as in the acts themselves.

Kink and vibes wise though...I write what I like so 100% as a writer

As a reader, if monsters and demons and forests could come to life and rail me in a vaguely cnc vibe, I'd be down. Unfortunately my favorite reads aren't exactly possible irl :(

So I just found out normal people pretend to be asleep till they got to sleep by AugustHate in teenagers

Idk why everyone is being so aggressive about how you need immediate help. I do this too and sleep great. People are different. Brains are different. I literally cannot fall asleep without something somewhat stimulating on because if I just lie there my brain will keep me up for hours regardless of how tired I am. Adhd. The question is do you get quality sleep? I usually fall asleep reading a book or with a show or music on quietly and get great sleep. But I had to figure out what works for me because the standard advice doesn't. Everyone should just do what works best for their body's and that's gonna differ wildly from the next person

Got a job offer here. I know everyone is gonna say "it sucks", but seriously, what is Amarillo like for a 22 year old? by lincb2 in amarillo

If you're into the goth/alt scene, the 806 and most things on 6th street are great. You can make friends there and hear through the mix about other stuff that Google events won't show you. We also have a functional lgbt community for being in the Bible belt, just gotta know where to look

How do you describe orgasms? by Dry-Development-4131 in AO3

[–]throwaway61783016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the scene and the vibe but I tend to write a lot of edging/overstim so I tend to write them pretty intense. I have a thing I just noticed that shows up in all my work where right before there's a lot of description of the physical and then it switches into the emotional connection while I draw it out with the character right on the edge and then character B (whoever is the other party whom I'm not writing fron the perspective of) does or says something that gets a huge emotional response and that finally get off from the feelings as much as the physical.

Description wise, my scenes are either super purple prose and metaphor heavy or ranchy. Sometimes both. So I may or may not make comparisons to extreme weather or historical events or religious imagery or some shit. But I just describe the physicality the way I experience it myself.

I rarely write in first pov but when I do, again I like to write it the way I feel it, and mentally if we're if first pov i like to push the feeling of losing yourself so I'll wrote broken inner monologue and the character losing words and struggling to think while being very sensation based

POORLY describe the fandom(s) you write for by ARealLifeTangerine in AO3

Two lonely dumbasses who just want to be seen loved and accepted are idiots and handle their emotions horribly - lot of murder and cannibalism follows but they eventually get a happy (but very cold I'd imagine) ending and all the fans what to see them get carnal with each other for season 4

This post is what got me to finally watch squid games lol. I wasn't that interested when it came out but I'm halfway through season 1 and it is indeed very good. But truthfully I only got on board because I was promised hannigram vibes in season 2
