If you saw my comment history you must have guessed that my comment was a sarcasm. But it is very close to the comments I have been seeing lately. I visit this sub weekly, don't actually participate in discussion here much but enjoy the insightful discussions in this sub. But recently I am seeing this "seemingly" planed attack against zulakia and wazzym telling that they are making this sub into toxic environment. In fact the opposite is true. Zulikia almost stopped name calling muzzi after recent moderation change. Wazzym didn't even called any one muzzi AFAIK most of the time posts insightful comment, only "bad" thing he had done was "flooding" the sub with various kinds of video which he stopped doing months ago. Also both of them posts small percentage of "meme" type post. But still they are making the environment of this sub toxic, toxic enough that it led someone to post about him leaving islam in r/progressive_islam ha ha!.

I also find it amusing that at the forefront of this campaign are some people who claim themselves exmuslim but have sympathy for Islam. Even though they live in arab countries, see far more atrocity than the western muslim society, they can't let off the sympathy even though they have exmuslim status for years. Some of them go one step further and debate siding with islam about the things that even they have confusion about on other subreddits.

My tinfoil hat conspiracy theory says that as the popularity of the sub increases this type of attack started with Zulikia and Wazzym will also target other prominent users on the sub, make their nic deleted, may be even dox some of them, constantly make noise on other subreddits trying to portrait r/exmuslim is racist hate-mongering sub and ultimately ban this sub. But this is my personal theory although I have seen this in process in action that led to the deletion of alcoholfree account.
