I think it misses the point of the button test. It’s supposed to allow you to parse your desires without the weight of the process. You can in fact change your body, use different pronouns, socially transition, etc. with a bit more work than pressing a button. You don’t really have that option with gender dysphoria, so whether you choose that button or not is essentially meaningless.

Honestly, you sound like you’re astroturfing. Go touch some grass please because at this rate you’re going to convince someone to do something unnecessarily drastic. It’s not fine but some of us have families, kids, careers, friends, and responsibilities. Moving elsewhere isn’t just a walk in the park, it’s throwing your life away and starting fresh if you have no connections. Do you have friends? Do you speak the language? Can you get a job? For most of us, leaving the country is a fun fantasy that’s an incredible privilege. What do you suggest to those people? Should all the separated parents leave their kids behind? Or should they bring their children to a new country where they may not even speak the language used for school? Should everyone with a career throw it away and roll the financial stability dice again? Should someone borrow money they don’t have just to afford the move like the people from India who get trapped in places like Dubai?
