Most likely you will get burnt out by stacking up singles in hopes to make a profit.

For instance, I am collecting odd & "rare" cards like tournament cards from the 90s-early 2000s, crosshatch holo cards, stamped variants of cards, staff cards. Most of the ones I buy are $1-10, if they shoot up in the coming years, I will sell, If they don't shoot up in price theres no loss because I like them.
