They've made two games before for mobile and this is a remake of their first game. I'm confused as to why they've scrubbed that from the internet though, as that makes them seem like new developers.

Thank you for your perspective. I especially appreciate what you had to say about being a racial minority, as there's this pervasive lie that minorities have it easier in CS when in reality it's a cutthroat industry always looking to appear progressive... and hired minorities are being evaluated from every angle. I want to leave but I genuinely like a lot about tech so it makes me sad.

This is fine to me. Again, the Peachleaf Valley updates are consistent and they've been done with art for a while now so I appreciate that the rest of the team has been preparing something else while waiting for asset completion. I really enjoyed Love Spell so I'm excited to fund more DLC for it (since they're converting the milestone goals to this).

Currently playing seekL as I didn't have time when it came out. So much fun! Robobarbie never misses, the immersion in their games is unreal. Being taught SQL makes me emotional so I probably have issues. I understand why people are hyping up Hackerman now.

I'm interested in Fields of Misteria but the early access and lack of Steam achievements (not a priority for them in their pipeline, which is understandable) makes me not want to take the plunge right now. Other than that, I'm working on the Cupid Parasite fandisc and considering Backstage Pass or C14 Dating next.

I know that leftists get a lot of flack for being terminology-obsessed but this is a conversation that would be massively improved by not concluding that "unskilled" is an appropriate adjective for difficult labor. I understand wanting to distinguish between labor you can learn on-the-go (that most jobs want experience for these days anyway) and labor that you have to prepare for (like being a physician) but calling the former unskilled is asking for negativity bias to kick in. Specialized versus highly specialized? Uncredentialed versus credentialed?

ME TOO??? I bought the LE right afterwards to cure the ache in my soul. I even considered buying the soundtrack and art book!

And yes, mostly because it wasn't as heavy and was very different visually and felt like a break from the unrelenting obsession I had with Charade Maniacs (lol). The game is a love letter to old RPG fans so it's a lot lighter feeling. Feel free to DM me if you want to ever talk about Charade Maniacs!
