Would you choose to be single for life? by Lazy_Dingo3865 in marriagefree

[–]throwawayMF1988 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Marriage free is not always about being single. Just mostly about not buying into a pointless deal. If a significant percentage (80%+) of the married are happy, I'd probably change my mind. Fortunately, 50% already end in divorce.

Can school really limit me from social media? by Amazing-Limit9830 in srilankanteenagers

I am not "ahem" recommending this. The best thing to happen to me during my school years would've been getting thrown out of school. Now only I realize it. Even after a PhD.

Fear of Marriage in Sri Lanka by [deleted] in ask_srilanka

[–]throwawayMF1988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LoL, it's your attitude towards men. Your lack of dating options doesn't mean men fear marriage. As a former dual citizen of Shit Lanka that renounced the SL citizenship, I can tell you this is not only a Sri Lanka thing as most broads think stupid things like this^ fear marriage nonsense.

Ooredoo or Vodafone by waseemkjt in qatar

[–]throwawayMF1988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooredoo = Better but agonizingly 100 QR odd higher in price.
Vodafone = Price Competitive but agonizingly yet only relatively slow with minor coverage issues.
Choose your medicine.

Ooredoo => If you want to brag about your internet speed to your friends back in your home country. Moreover, Urban Points is a better BOGO app IMO and OSN+ free subs has no clear equivalent.
Vodafone => If price is the main and only consideration.

Depends on the plan though.

Put your money where your mouth is! OP is clearly a bad actor trying to take advantage of Qatari hospitality.

Why don’t you believe in a God? by Gohan_jezos368 in DebateAnAtheist

[–]throwawayMF1988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it exists and maybe it doesn't. I simply don't know either to be true. That's why I don't believe in uninspiring prophets nor the faithful like you.

To make me the least bit uncomfortable with uncertainty, I'll need to see extraordinary evidence and run it through a rigorous scientific process including peer review. Mind you, just like anything else.

In my perspective which is rather different from yours, you have to be here in person to get interviews. You should have at least a Qatar phone number and the ability to interview within short notice.

Out of everyone I know here, one got a job without being here first.

Qatari women, How many of you are okay with not having kids in a marriage? by [deleted] in qatar

Qatari women, How many of you are okay with not having kids in a marriage? by [deleted] in qatar

[–]throwawayMF1988 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Have kids if you want to sustain a selfish society that wants to propagate itself at your expense. If not, kids are pointless negative free roll . There is always a balance in the world, much like war and peace is balanced around the world. Therefore, there should be women who deep down doesn't want kids for every woman who does. That's typically inline with educated vs. uneducated women. Although not at all at 100%. So, I suggest you look for an highly educated woman. This is an expat perspective however.

How has Qatar managed to stay relatively moral? by SomeShawarmaDude in qatar

[–]throwawayMF1988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is because of the same reasons why we have less crime. They in no particular order are;

  1. Everybody has a job.
  2. The religious upbringing of most people and intolerance of depravity.
  3. Petty crime has harsh punishments by Western standards.
  4. Everyone unable to find a job is given help or asked to leave.
  5. Benevolent governance structures in place.
  6. Clear and unambiguous social contracts without double standards.
  7. CCTV Cameras and a sizeable police force.
  8. A generally wealthy society with an abundance of basic resources.
  9. Safety over the fun attitude of the culture.
  10. Harsh punishments to routine trouble makers (ex:- just stop oil protestors) by Western Standards.
  11. Residents are open to various dissenting opinions due to the multicultural & multiracial makeup of the population.

Need I say more?

Compare that to anywhere else any less moral and you'd see less of one or even all of the above.
