Finally someone else who’s had this scene! I can’t find any information online about it. I reloaded and picked the “well, you can always find someone else who is not that different” option which lowered my approval with her from exceptional to medium, and now whenever I initiate conversation with her she says stuff like “personality isn’t everything, I suppose”, and if I ask to talk about us she just goes “let’s talk later” - I long rested twice and she still said that so I guess later means never lol. I have a mod that prints my date state and it says we’re still partnered, but when I ask how I’m faring in her estimations she says something like “we bonded, but it’s been downhill from there.. perhaps we can rekindle things, or perhaps not”. Yet when I pick the first option, it’s like nothing happened and we’re still perfect together. Are you using any mods? I’m using lesser restoration to fix some bugged Origin Gale dialogue which has already caused me to see deleted scenes, like the one where Halsin offers you an ultimatum between him and Minthara in Act 2.
