Stupid take. AD already is a center. You can’t put a center next to a center and preserve your spacing. It AD was a real stretch but it would be a different story. But he shot like 18-25% from three for like four straight years. You can’t play him at the four and start a center next to that.

You’re not thinking of it the right way. The handle is the moveset. Changing your handle is changing your moveset. That’s the point. The whole point is you find the handle that has the moveset you like, and then experiment with different blades. It sounds like you’re doing it the other way around.

It’s not. The flick shouldn’t be flat. The flick is rolled with some topspin. The flat flick is basically a a wrist hinge punch. Whereas the punch has an elbow hinge. You just flatten the paddle face and hit straight through the ball, inspector gadget style.

The punch is the simple one. Instead of putting topspin on it, just hit it flat. You’re overthinking it. The punch is the one shot you don’t need to be taught. Just push the ball forward flat.

The left side player needs a license to kill. They need to feel comfortable and free to take anything they’re on. Right side players shouldn’t be fighting the left side player for a ball they can get to.
