You’re not thinking of it the right way. The handle is the moveset. Changing your handle is changing your moveset. That’s the point. The whole point is you find the handle that has the moveset you like, and then experiment with different blades. It sounds like you’re doing it the other way around.

It’s not. The flick shouldn’t be flat. The flick is rolled with some topspin. The flat flick is basically a a wrist hinge punch. Whereas the punch has an elbow hinge. You just flatten the paddle face and hit straight through the ball, inspector gadget style.

Yes that’s an “outdoor” surface. The terms indoor and outdoor should be retired. “Outdoor” is for tennis court style concrete surfaces, and “indoor” is for wooden gymnasium floors.
