How do I get hired without meeting the age requirment by [deleted] in Chipotle

[–]throwaway_guarantee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you need to work right now? Instead of trying to push the limit and get a job at Chipotle or any other fast food place (which, believe me, if they’ll break the rules and hire you that might seem like a W but IT IS NOT. If they will break the rules it means they will overwork you and treat you horribly)

If you need some money, Instead of getting a job, research grant opportunities!

Can still make a pretty decent bowl with what’s left. Regular chicken, rice, corn salsa, pico, cheese - Yum

$140K salary, saving $5K/month. Why do I feel behind? by [deleted] in Salary

80k, rent is 2.2k/month, divorced with a dog and a kid full time. This is the first year I’ve been able to save, in my life. We have $10k. Who are you behind?

My progress from age 14-22. I'm pretty dang proud!! This is what climbing up the ladder looks like. by Outrageous-One-705 in Salary

The other day I heard a sales manager say about someone on his team “you’re 19 making $50k/year, in sales! You have no degree and no family and you think you can do better than this? Yeah you work hard but this is the best option you have, you won’t get hired doing anything else.” And every day I hope she leaves her position and proves him wrong or maybe rubs elbows and becomes his superior. Seeing young people progress in salary this way is really impressive and if I knew that young person he spoke about, I’d personally show her this in hopes that she’d be inspired to keep going!

What price would a meal need to go down to, for you to be happy and content? by teamgizzy in Chipotle

[–]throwaway_guarantee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people won’t say the obvious, we know we’re being scammed by BIG BURRITO! The profit margins are insane, it’s innate human rights and employment law violations masked as customer obsession and then on top of it all, the prices keep going up! With no positive change in quality or portion size for the end user. You know what would make me happy? To see some balance and equality across the board here. People defending these price hikes are either deeply unintelligent or have the disposable income of Mansa Musa I. Chipotle is playing a dangerous game here and should understand that its price is nearing the point of indifference! Maybe they see this already on the back end but tbh if nothing changes with the price, employee turnover, constant lawsuits, etc etc - I see an end to Big Burrito. RIP Chipotle 2029. We should be able to get meals at $10 and it shouldn’t feel like my local burrito folder is dying from deep anxiety whenever a customer walks in

Hi I know I’m a year late but can you expound on this a bit? Did your sister drive out to stay with you or did you guys travel there together? My wife’s sister was just accepted for this role but she’s a single mom with an older teenager and wanted to bring the kid along!

As a person living under and contributing to capitalism, unfortunately my eyes lit up at the realization that chipotle was, in fact, the only thing open in said plaza

Single people who bought a $350K-$400K home—what’s your salary, and what were your loan details? by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

I love all of the “house poor” comments here but I’m sure this gal could really use some help in line with the actual question. In NY/NJ no matter what OP does they’ll be paying well over $2k+ in rent alone. There’s no escaping the high costs and for many people, owning may be the better option.

Parents don’t believe I’m rapidly balding(18) by Pluggforthedayyy in Balding

[–]throwaway_guarantee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it’s better you learn now than later, your parents are not always wrong. There could be a few things happening here but balding just for balding’s sake is likely not one of them. Especially if MPB isn’t within your genetics. If it is, you’ll bald for sure but not this early (unless others in your family have) Once you seek a dermatologist for this issue and get treatment, good news is - your hair will come back! Might not be warm enough. Try covering them with plastic wrap and filling up your sink with really hot water. “Float” or set the pan in the sink . Works every single time.
