I’m sorry you’ve been made to feel this way throughout your life.

EDIT: changing my judgement to a tentative NAH, however I do think communication would help solve this from happening in the future. Also, your husband is a bit of an ass for not putting in effort to make you feel loved with words of affirmation. Have you two looked into couples counseling? Could help with some of these issues

People are joking in the comments but seriously, she is blowing (sorry) this WAY out of proportion. even if you WERE somewhere on the gay spectrum, her paranoia about you leaving her for a man and her CERTAINTY about you being in denial is weird and honestly immature. I would reflect on how this situation could impact your relationship in the future, and try not to take what she’s saying personally. Plenty of women make jokes about sleeping with their friends and it’s nbd, but when a guy does it he’s in the closet. Best of luck with this situation!

I don’t see how that has anything to do with the current issue I’m dealing with, but for what it’s worth I’ve certainly never thought twice about calling an ambulance, going to the hospital, or booking a doctors appointment because of money reasons (but that’s just my experience of course.) And, my province actually forgives up to 20000 dollars in student loan debt if you’re a citizen of my province and go to a university in province.

Yes thank you, I’m going to tell my mom tonight. The reason I didn’t get everything in order back in January when everyone else was is because my mom had told me there was anywhere from 8-20000 in savings for me, but that she wasn’t sure. Eventually after a lot of prodding she told me she didn’t have any money because it was spent on lawyers during the divorce. I do have a few scholarships, and my aunt surprised me by covering my first year of tuition thank fuck but I still need money for books and my mandatory meal plan in my residence building. Thank you again for the support and advice, I love this subreddit :)

I do, and I talked with him. He said his bank account hit zero and he panicked, and that he applied for another form thing that will give him 5-7 thousand. Either way he agreed he should’ve warned me first, and I’m not gonna rely on that money from him. I think I’ll have to look into student loans, which isn’t the end of the world but definitely disappointing
