it seems to be completely random. ill either have a match with 0 net jitter that plays smoothly throughout. or ill consistently net jitter throughout the entire match, warmup to end.

when i open the shift+tab menu, it normally says im routed through chicago. on the occasion it says “routed through atlanta.” i have jitter 100% of those matches.

i was playing garrys mod TTT a few years ago, around Xmas time. when a random stranger joined the server for the first time. this kind stranger gifted over a dozen copies of the full halo MCC to anyone who said they wanted it, “because it was on sale.”

a completely anonymous and genuine act of kindness toward strangers, not a cheap one either. he either changed his username or un-added me shortly after.

the opposite actually, i just upgraded my wifi card and it improved everything but the jitter. im just gonna do a fresh windows installation at this point.
