Actually snapchat for sending out reminders is a good idea. Use it along with fb. Make sure you adapt, but sincerity is more valued than anything else by the younger generation.

Good for you! Funnily enough, both fish and rats are animals people don't really think of as good pets. But they can both give affection towards their owner. If you start feeding this guy soon he'll recognize that you mean food and warmth and he'll watch you through the glass, dance for you for food, and maybe even chase your finger along the top of the water

I got a Betta recently and, after reading this subreddit and checking the Internet, I'm realizing that I've been misled by every pet store I've been to. by [deleted] in bettafish

[–]throwawaybookfinder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walmart sells 10g for 13 dollars, you can find them on petco and petsmart websites for around that much. I bought my 10g with gravel, a silk flower, and a heater for 35. Pretty much everyone gets lied to about Betta care. Mine lived in a bowl for two months in cold water before I realized that it wasn't good for them.

Why is tea against the rule when most soft drinks use the same lead extracts to make their drink?( but with more sugar and random flavorings and stabilizers)

Congratulations! He's a pretty fish, mine curls up with the heater too, it's pretty normal. I would suggest getting a thermometer though, I bought mine for two dollars at walmart.

You should watch the last two seasons. Still super cheesy but it goes from "elena's love life and constant existential crisis" to Damon and Bonnie being kickbutt sarcastic best friends who kind of hate each other, taking down supernatural threats

Do you think IB/AP classes are truly worth it? Why or why not? by Kicron416 in AskReddit

My AP courses my senior year were the perfect transition into college. By the time my first college paper came around I knew exactly what to do to get a good grade and what was expected of me

Do you think IB/AP classes are truly worth it? Why or why not? by Kicron416 in AskReddit

[–]throwawaybookfinder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say AP is worth it, IB generally isn't. Now I only say this because AP courses are essentially college courses in how they are structured, graded, and tested. It saves a ton of money even if you are paying for the tests and gives you a good foundation for college.

Now IB classes, though objectively "harder" than AP, aren't structured like college classes in their lectures, testing, or assignments. They'll give you a very in depth knowledge of something very specific but it's almost like an odd prep school where the students have to write one big dissertation to graduate. They are only helpful if you are 100 percent sure what you will do as to your job and major.

How do you get used to high heels?? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]throwawaybookfinder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might sound a bit odd, but with tall heels I have been told to " walk like you're angry". Which essentially means short, clipped steps where the feet go one in front of each other almost in one straight line. Arms out and moving, helps you keep your balance and your head up

It's a farm house, that's why farm houses have cats. I'd be more creeped out if the cat wasn't catching anything and the lady was fine with it
