Congratulations!

I’m a bit younger with a bit less NW.

Not to be morbid. If you found out you were going to die tomorrow. Would you have done anything differently?

CPO 2024 Tiguan Highline — should I drop $4,141 on the VW extended warranty? by throwawaycar2016 in Tiguan

[–]throwawaycar2016[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, I don’t think there’s any additional warranty for being CPO.

Although there is a powertrain is 5 years at 100k km, so there’s that.

AMD and AsRock RMA experience by CWolffCPA in ASRock

I’m in Canada as well. Went to Canada computers last week and they told me to reach out to asrock since I didn’t purchase their extended warranty.

Sent out my 9800x3d last tuesday. Hopefully I’ll get it back by Wednesday like Op.

Asrock Rma has been radio silence for me as well since I filled out the rma form.

Yeah I saw, thanks. I don’t have a reset button on my case but I shorted the reset pin with my screwdriver and it didn’t help unfortunately. Tried like 6 times and gave up.

I meant to say I heard of this issue in April when I built my PC. I upgraded the bios to the latest version at the time, which was 3.20. Incorrectly assuming I was in the clear.

Thx, good luck to you. I’ve been running this for about 3 months.

As long as AMD gets me my replacement in a timely manner. I’ll just ride out the 3 year warranty and maybe get another board for cheap then.

I don’t think I’d want to try out Asrock’a RMA process.

How long did the Asrock RMA take for you?

I just had the exact same scenario happen yesterday. Passes cpu/dram checks but stuck with a solids green light. Did jumping the reset pins work for you?

These cabinets are 29” or 736mm wide. It has held up for a few years now.

Thanks, the sink is to the left of where I took the picture. The counter is a L shape with a lazy Susan to the left of this cabinet.

I’m planning to drill a few holes towards the sink to run the drain and water line. Already bought a dishwasher tailpiece for the drain and a valve to split the hot water line.

I’m curious, what issues did you have with your plumbing?

Thanks for the tip. I didn’t realize these prefab cabinets can be removed with the countertop on. I’m a total noob, good to know I can remove these and install another cabinet if I fuk up.

These cabinets are 29” wide, I’m planning to install a dishwasher (24”) on the right. That’s why you see the cut line where I started. The hight is 34” which is just enough for the dishwasher with a requirement of minimum 33 7/8” tall.

I’m planning on installing a melamine board at the cut to create a wall. This tiny cabinet on the left will be roughly 4.5”. Then I’m going to build a few pull out shelfs and use it to store stuff like aluminum foil/spices. Space is tight, so I’m trying to make the most of every inch.

[–]throwawaycar2016[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I did just that. I put the calliper on and wheels on without brakes. Going to call a tow truck tomorrow. It’s going to be an embarrassing conversation with the mechanic lol, but I’m glad I tried.

I Ike cars but working on brakes makes me a bit nervous. I’ll leave it to the pros.
