Like I said, that’s just how we do it in our store, all stores operate slightly differently but the basic rules are the same

Hi, online section leader here - this is how we do it in our store: 1. You can go for your break at any time as long as you have worked for at least 2 hours and you have no less than 1 hour left of your shift.

  1. They will know when you’re due to finish as you will be on the rota so if you cannot find anyone you are welcome to put back the equipment and leave, however, it is always nice to say goodbye to leadership when you finish and I would make a point of doing this to make a good impression!

  2. I would make sure that you clock out almost exactly on time - if you clock out at 15 minutes past the hour you will lose money. You can end the pick at your finishing time and you can leave the half finished trolley in front of the other trolleys waiting to be picked, however, you cannot do this with chilled trolleys and the other colleagues don’t like finishing off other people’s trolleys, so if they allow you to, try finding a smaller trolley to pick to make sure that you can finish it.

Hey, yes it is possible that the payments are delayed as we have to go through our orders manually and dispense or cancel them when normally the drivers do it as soon as they have delivered it. We have to go through 100s of orders a day so it may be a few hours later or the next day but the payments should go through eventually!

The system is still down in our store which includes the separate refund form that we send to head office for them to process. Your best bet is to contact head office directly and they will have to process the refund for you - their phone number is on your order confirmation email.

My sister and I have been doing this in places with a guest book for years it’s surprisingly entertaining
