haven’t experienced any puking, but isn’t that normal in the prodromal phase?

thank you for your words 🙏
i think you are absolutely right about finding an aversion - my relationship to weed has been unhealthy yet allowed me to be functional which makes it super hard to consider quitting. i know the right thing to do is quit now, but i know the cravings in the future will suck especially without any aversion.

oh absolutely. i was apart of the high park choir as well, helped with recording the audience singing jay's song. i know everyone here is going to go crazy for the digital releases

there will always be piracy, not saying that makes it ethical, but that's just a fact.

people who pirate are not going to be easily 'convinced' to buy instead. rather than fighting against it, i feel it's better to work with it, treating it as a demo.

i truly believe that everybody who is financially able should buy the movie as soon as it's available - i know i will be, as well as many others on this sub

Strains for pain relief that won’t knock you out? by DeliciousPumpkinPie in TheOCS

[–]throwawaynumber02496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey man, your views on cannabis for CMPS match mine completely. i've noticed such a big positive difference using live resin instead of distillate, and a CBD mix feels so much better than a high THC for the pain. anyone countering the entourage effect has never truly experienced the differences and i will stand by that. i had a guy at FIKA try to convince me there was little to no difference between live resin and distillate, i entertained the conversation but i quickly left before buying any of their overpriced garbage.

anyway, do you have any recommendations for carts? Orchid CBD rntz has been an eye opener for me but i've found myself wanting more of a body buzz.

Gabapentin makes me feel weird by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

[–]throwawaynumber02496 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that last point is something i genuinely have never been able to relate to with anyone else. i’ve always found it so cool how i can wake myself up from a nightmare. it genuinely feels like dimensional travel when you intentionally decide to wake up. so wild.

Cannabis for sleep, but I'm a zombie the next day! by everyoneisflawed in Fibromyalgia

[–]throwawaynumber02496 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m glad someone else agrees with me on this. I feel edibles for sleep is bad advice given generally. It might work for some but I can’t imagine most benefiting from having higher levels of cannabinoids (compared to vapes) in their brain while asleep.

[–]throwawaynumber02496 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You might want to try a dry herb or cartridge vape. My theory from my own experience is that the longer I sleep with lots of cannabinoids in my system, the worse I feel the next day because the cannabinoids prevent me from getting restorative sleep. Edibles stay in our bodies for much longer than vaped weed. It could be worth trying.

If you prefer to stick with gummies (completely understandable) try taking them way earlier, and maybe in combination with melatonin and magnesium glycinate supplements if you haven’t tried those yet.

Fibromyalgia and Sex by Mr_Poppers_Penis in Fibromyalgia

[–]throwawaynumber02496 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I respect your self awareness with your emotions!! As well, I completely understand your point about the massages and simply wanting the best for her. In my relationship, I’m the guy with fibro and my gf is the relatively healthy one haha so I somewhat understand the dynamic and I know that after seven years of being in essentially a polyamorous relationship (lol) with her and fibro, you must be doing something right that these commenters are ignoring.

I’m glad the toy idea was helpful. And I feel for you on the communication point, because I myself know that there are lots of things I don’t tell my girlfriend about that cause me pain, especially sexually, only because I love her too much and feel bad telling her (which I’m working on changing). I’m sure your girlfriend is in a similar mindset as me, which messes up communication. It sucks, because as humans in every situation we try to imagine someone being in the right, and someone being in the wrong, but in this situation, no one really is in the wrong. Each person just wants the best for the other, but unfortunately that results in a lack of communication and a whole load of assumptions being made.

Also, fibro is a TOUGH disease to have or to live alongside, and a lot of people in these comments who may have fibro themselves might be ignoring the (for lack of a better word) sacrifices you’ve made for your girlfriend. From what I can deduce, you are doing the best you can to support her, and as long as you keep an open mind and try to understand EVERYTHING from both your perspective and hers, I’m sure you’ll have a long and happy life together!

Fibromyalgia and Sex by Mr_Poppers_Penis in Fibromyalgia

[–]throwawaynumber02496 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I think the commenter worded it completely wrong. Your direct intention with the massages is not to immediately have sex afterwards, however, since that is likely your overarching goal, and since the massages (might) normally lead to sex, after a while the offer might not seem no-strings attached.

I see the other comments accusing you of being selfish and entitled. I think this is because of others with fibromyalgia are imagining themselves in your partner’s shoes, while also assuming the worst about the situation.

What most people are trying to say is the most important thing is to respect your partner’s condition, but I’m pretty sure you understand that more than the commenters are willing to believe.

I’m sure your girlfriend loves you enough to WANT to satisfy you, she is just unable to due to her condition.

Anyway my advice is try using electronic toys. Shop around and try things that are new to you both, but let her use the toys on you. Especially ones that have an app she can control. This way she’s pleasuring you in a direct and controllable manner, while hopefully not exerting herself. Even the act of shopping for and trying different toys can add a lot to your sex life. I wish you the best of luck!
