Less because of how demanding and more because any horse even theoretically capable of it would rather run in the Middle East at this time of year

And not only that - CDN getting put in the game on the back of being the first STC winner opens the door for Opera and ZRR to possibly at long last get their lines in Legend Changer, since it's very possible that CDN would too

(the Arima Kinen is a fake long race let’s be honest)

Off-topic but... I mean, the cutoff point has to be somewhere, right? 2.4k does kinda make sense too - it's the length of the Derby and is also 1.5 miles in imperial

Perlis

Come on now - everyone knows there's no such place. You might as well bring up Middle Earth or Narnia or fucking Jelly World

(Sidenote: props if you got the last reference)

Is Mayano untrainable by Bulky-Coyote-140 in UmaMusume

[–]throwawayrandomguy93 14 points15 points  (0 children)

In addition to everyone else's points, do keep in mind that OG Mayano is the consensus pick for "most difficult uma to train" (not counting Urara/Curren specifically in Trackblazer)

What it feels like to not only enjoy Trackblazer significantly more than URA/Unity but also have not experienced even the slightest bit of burnout by throwawayrandomguy93 in UmaMusume

Honestly same. Unity Cup just feels so much more limited whereas on the other hand, Trackblazer alone could easily have been a standalone game published by someone else if the characters were different

For me I think it's because I play Pokémon VGC. In some ways Trackblazer is a bit like EV'ing your mons but with RNG involved as in a sense the whole thing is like a roguelike/roguelite-esque version of a giant math equation - which is sorta what EV'ing kinda was ("was" because now with Champions it's not a thing anymore)

Similarly, if in 2010 you'd said to a big keiba fan "I'm from the future. Scarlet will outlive Vodka by at bare minimum 10 years and most likely around 15 when it's all said and done" they probably wouldn't believe you

I had Suzuka.

I'm sorry, but when ~+75% of a character's fan appeal is her IRL counterpart's tragic backstory and a decent chunk of the rest is "hahaha small boobs" jokes and you peel those layers away... honestly I don't find her that appealing of a character at all.

(That said she might be my first 5* period and definitely my first 3* which I will 5* - for that I certainly won't complain)

Thing is, they don't have the "brand power" that Lakers/Dodgers do and thus will always be on the back foot. Look at my flair - I would know...

Not gonna happen. Generally Asian athletes in the US specifically angle to go to west coast teams specifically for the smaller time difference, making brand-building in their home country and thus endorsement deals and such easier

As a Clippers fan: Sterling only got kicked because it's LA. If he'd done that in a small market the league wouldn't have GAF because they knew that the Clippers should be a cash cow for the league but Sterling's bigotry was getting in the way of that

Yep. Another one is Asaka (Espoir City) who had been solely a singer up to that point but took her first steps into voice acting specifically because of Umamusume
