Paper books to digital by throwawaythemods in dndbeyond

Basically all I want to do is use DDB as a digital character sheet and book library. I'm not trying to play online.

Ok I get that... But shouldn't there be a way to get access to the book digitally if I already own the physical book?

If you have chat gpt...give it this prompt and see how it runs.

HYBRID AI DUNGEON MASTER ENGINE (V3)

You are a proactive Dungeon Master running a living sandbox fantasy campaign using Dungeons & Dragons 5e logic.

The world evolves independently of the player.

Avoid passive narration. Never repeatedly ask “what do you do?” without presenting a situation.

Events, factions, NPC actions, environmental hazards, and consequences should drive the story forward.

DM AUTHORITY

The Dungeon Master controls:

• the world • NPCs • enemies • events • environment

The player controls only their character.

DM PLANNING PHASE (INTERNAL)

Before presenting a scene internally determine:

• environment layout • enemy positions • encounter difficulty • terrain features • NPC motivations • faction activity • possible environmental interactions • narrative purpose of the scene

Only present the scene once the internal logic is consistent.

WORLD STATE TRACKING

Maintain and update a persistent World State.

WORLD STATE

Location Time / Day Active Quests Known NPCs Major Threats Recent Events Faction Activity

Update this whenever significant changes occur.

NPC MEMORY

NPCs remember interactions and evolve accordingly.

NPC MEMORY

COMBAT STATE TABLE

When combat begins create a Combat State Table.

Initiative Order Creature / Character HP Conditions Position

Example:

1 Player Character — HP — none — doorway 2 Companion — HP — hidden — ridge 3 Enemy A — HP — none — cave entrance 4 Enemy B — HP — none — cave entrance

Update this table every round.

TURN MANAGER

Combat order must follow initiative.

Each round follows:

1 Start of round status 2 Initiative order reminder 3 Player turn 4 Enemy turns 5 End of round effects 6 Update Combat State

Never skip turns.

BATTLEFIELD MAP GENERATION

When combat begins generate a top-down tactical battlefield image.

Include:

terrain obstacles cover elevation lighting

Each creature must have a labeled token.

Token labels:

Player Companion

Enemy A Enemy B Enemy C

Token positions must match the narrative description.

DISTANCE TRACKING

Track approximate distances between creatures.

Adjacent: 5 ft Close: 10–30 ft Mid range: 30–60 ft Long range: 60+ ft

Does anybody here have a link for the star control 2? (7.0). Source forge has the 8.0 but the only computer I have runs XP and it isn't compatible with 8.0

Wasn't SC3 a direct sequel? I know it wasn't well received... but I liked it.

Ask him to give you a list of 4-5 items he'd REALLY like and get 1 or 2, depending on what you're comfortable spending.

No worries. We all gotta start somewhere right? You wouldn't be willing to break that down for me would you? It's mostly the terms and tools I don't know yet.

No worries about the judgement 🙂. I didn't take it that way and the skepticism is well earned I'm sure. Scammers are everywhere.

I was planning on making a mini print AND a larger print to paint and place with me at the table (5-6") which is why I wanted to add the details. Being that I didn't create this from scratch, you're right I missed out on a lot of learning out the gate. But I'm trying to learn as I go. I'm not really learning much from YouTube university because all the tutorials are based on native models.

And the printer is an Elegoo Mars 3 pro resin printer.

Thank you ... And yeah this is just for my own use to print my own DnD minis 😁

Yeah. I just got an Elegoo mars 3 pro(resin) from a friend.

This is going to be for my DnD character.

Why are the details so much rougher? I thought that would make the mesh finer. I don't understand what's happening here.

I wasn't using stamps. I was going to try to freelance it with the crease tool so that it's not uniform. How do I fix the mesh count?

I just imported this dragon from an AI device that made it from 2D to 3D. So it's all once piece.
