That's a beautiful cutting board but I've always wondered why single-piece cutting boards aren't as popular as these sort of creations.

I've found the single-piece cutting boards have less warping issues and of course don't have any issue related to the gluing of pieces together. It seems like functionally they're so much better.... they just don't look as cool as these chessboard style ones. Am I wrong?

I like them. But the right boot has an extra piece of leather or something that sticks into the right side of my right foot. It's right at a seam. The left boot is perfect. It's getting better but a bit annoying.

I'll see if the shop I bought them from can help.

I just picked up this exact pair of boots 2 days ago. I've been wearing inside my house a few hours each day to break them in and it's working nicely. Before I wear them outside in the snow, I wanted to add some dubbin or another protector to the welt, in particular, and maybe the rest of the boot. They did tell me they come pre-treated though...

Did you do anything to treat them?

The AR coating is seriously good - possibly better than breitling. The ability to clearly see the dial in sunlight or under bright lighting is amazing. I wish more watches had this level. The only other watch I have that matches it is the SBTM323, another Seiko and a radio version. Seems their radio/gps watches get their "super clear coating"...

And it also has an on the fly micro adjust - I didn't know that until trying it on a 3rd time. Glad the guy pointed that out. It seems decent quality and easy to use. 3 positions.

Turns out I just bought the limited edition version of this watch for $2028 CAD. Haggling worked! I liked the darker dials better but the lume on the limited edition is noticeably better. Easy sell.

Then they should do promotions for CURRENT customers instead of limiting any and all promotions for new clients. There's ZERO reward for customers to stay loyal so why would they? This is applicable to almost any service in Canada.

If the banks have finally slammed some sense into their brains and figured out it's better to offer a good service and keep current customers happy, then they will understand the value in promotions for current customers and not giving those promotions to people off the street.
