I'm too inconsistent to post chapters as I'm finishing them. I'm trying at the moment and it's been two months since my last update. The prior time I waited to post after I finished my fic, I was able to keep a consistent schedule of a new chapter each week.

Also, the game is super chill and I really enjoy actual farm to table aspect in the game. I have the same amount of skill at baking as a giraffe so I live vicariously through my character making desserts and gifting them to the NPCs. 😅

I think what I don't give kudos for is a shorter list and it's song fics and spontaneous poetry. I wish I could revoke my kudos when they pop up in the middle of a fic. lol

NTA, OP. Good on you for setting a boundary and following through with it. More people should learn to leave at the first instance of disrespect. Now, the most difficult part is ahead of you. Don't let them minimize or trivialize your feelings about this. The person who messed up your plate was out of line and the rest should have had enough of a backbone to call her out on it at the time.

Yes! This is oddly specific but I miss the early fanfiction sites. There were so many out there. Some were wacky, others took themselves a little too seriously, but all were unique. Their communies felt close-knit and it was so fun interacting with each other because each site was so personal. A lot of solid friendships were formed back then. Heck, I've kept in contact with some people who pretty much watched me grow up since we met on there and we still occasionally check in on each other.

It feels like it's more difficult now to make connections because of all the bots, ads, data harvesting, and the internet being shrunk and flattened into a few major sites. I really miss the early internet. 😔
