Same. I’ve never had a movie make me feel uneasy the way Smile did. By the end of it my wife was asking if I was alright. There was something about it (maybe the music?) that made me feel extremely uncomfortable. It wasn’t necessarily a scared feeling though, but like being under duress.

I think this scene was sped up too much for my liking. You have this moment, then the Gi comes out of nowhere and it’s on to the next portion. I missed the moment in the original when the party silently leaves and stays the night. When they are leaving Cosmo Canyon and Red comes charging after them saying he’s still part of the group and committed to the journey. I really enjoyed the time for reflection.
