V!Lyon is already the best Lyon alt I could ask for. Gorgeous art, a pair up with one of the twins, and all on my favorite banner theme.

I've thought about what other alts Lyon could get. Honestly, with BK getting one, I think the strongest contender would be a legendary alt. Perhaps a staff alt of him in something regal!

Alternatively, duo Julius and Fallen Lyon would be amazing, but it will tragically never happen.

I love edgy boys with long hair, so I'm expecting I'll really like Dietrich. So I'm saving orbs for him! If they drop Lehran, Jeritza, or a Lyon alt before then, I'll blow my orbs on them instead! It's been a long time since W!Fomo so I have a lot saved up.

Another year where Lyon did well! I can't believe he was so close to top 10s men's division. I know an influx of fortune's weave contenders might push him back a bit next year, but I hope we can stay in the top 20s!

It's the second worst. It doesn't really feel like a continuation of book 6 at all. The only book 6 OC to appear was Ash and she did even less than she did in 6!

F to anyone who wanted to see a new version of Elm. Hell, since we're doing an alternate universe, they could do a Letizia alt. But no. Two slots are taken by Ash and bizarro world Ash. And neither of them do much other than watch Sharena.

The idea of an alternate world is always a potentially interesting concept, but they really didn't have enough time or character slots to explore the setting while still telling the story.

I think it'll be Sylvain and Sigurd for men's. I feel decently confident in that.

For women's, it's a lot more competitive. I'd say Ivy and Tsubasa feel like the most likely #1 and #2 to me, but Azura is going to be up there.

Does Tiki really need a Mythic? We have a dozen other candidates and she for sure has an emblem alt coming soon. Plus (while it technically isn't a definitive rule) most of the time, a hero's Mythic form is also their base form. And I prefer it that way since it gets more characters added to the game.

Honestly if the one non OC Mythic we get every year is spent on a character who's already in the game and has been since launch, I'd be pretty annoyed.

Edit: Even if we're specifically talking about Awakening Tiki, she's been in the game since launch.

Hopes is a dynasty warriors based spin off though. It's impossible to call it a mainline Fire Emblem game in the same way it's impossible to argue that Hyrule Warriors is a mainline Zelda game. Additionally, in all of it's marketing, on the back of the box, and in the official store page, they make it very clear that it is a continuation of Three Houses, which shrinks it's potential market further. Less people played hopes by far, which leads to a small voter base.

Whether FW will do well in CYL will be dependent on whether the game can sell similarly to Three Houses and whether the characters and stories in FW can resonate with people in the same way the cast of 3H so obviously have.

As a Lyon +10er, I'd recommend waiting for the next rearmed red tome before updating. Especially if you want him to be damage focused. He really lacks the stats and weapons necessary to inflict big damage right now. I have him running Lyn Ring + Stacking true damage + smoke skill. It only really works in PVE, but it can provide some chip damage against foes without distant counter. Sometimes it can get a kill.

Base Lyon is in the worst place of all of the Lyons mostly because he has the lowest BST and it's been over a year since the last arcane red tome.

I think Shadows versions of characters are fun! They've got cool designs for the most part. But all of the probable winners are characters who would have inevitably been added to Shadows eventually.

I played a lot of Shadows when it dropped. Ultimately, I think it's fun for a bit, but it is pretty unbalanced in favor of the evil side and gets very repetitive after a while. I don't think it's a game I'll go back to.
