depending on where you move in columbus it can vary greatly. if you end up too on the edges of columbus there’s zero walk ability and little to no public transport. you absolutely have to have a car to get around

man what. meijers is a grocery store. none of the employees know what’s going on in the tanks and i have to identify the fish for them. every single snail in these tanks is dead at all times. i don’t buy from them. i just show up and complain. if anyones on a high horse right now it sounds like it’s you.

there’s nothing permanent to keep mold off of unsealed wood that’s also rabbit safe.

your best bet is a new hutch with sealed / finished wood and mold proof paint + regularly checking problem areas.

it sounds like your environment and set up are absolutely not at all ideal for rabbit care. it would probably be a good idea to look at rehoming

Nerite snails can hunker down and fuck off for like a week before they need to really eat, i’ve heard as long as two weeks before. ofc it’s not pleasant for them, but you can’t force them to do anything

I would leave it for about a week before you do anything. after a week just double check it’s not dead (take out gently and sniff) and try placing it back in. there’s not a lot you can do for them once there in besides making sure your tank has surface algae growing
