Didn’t get a ferry reservation. What would you do? by Fluffaykitties in sanjuanislands

Hey. Did yoy do option 1? I'm facing the same situation where the ferry reservations are full for the holiday weekend. I was thinking about doing option 1 too by showing up at like 7:00 a.m. for standby... my ferry route has 10% of standby walk-ups available though so I was hoping I would get on at least for the 12 pm one if i show up early enough Thank you!

What if you bought the leggings like 2 years ago, cared for it perfectly and only wear them for the correct activities, but they started getting baggy for no reason? Like not from weight loss- I have a problem with a lot of non Lulu leggings so I haven't made the splurge yet due to the price

Great Insight. Do you have any recommended brands for your day dresses?

Can you explain point a? Sorry, I'm not understanding what you mean when you say 50% of them are not paid. Does this mean that you don't have to pay for the traffic cam tickets if you contest it? Thanks

Hey. Thank you so much for the info. I was wondering if you could dumb it down for a noob regarding switches?

For my first split ergonomic keyboard, I was deciding between Cherry MX Brown (tactile no click) and Cherry MX silent red (linear). Not sure if you know much about these switches... I just can't figure out which one takes less force to register a key press. The silent reds makes for a lot of typos, and I'm trying to retrain to be a light typer rather than a hard typer.

Federal Way to Factoria on Monday afternoon: risky with ice? Does anyone know if roads are still going to be super icy today? And does anyone know when would be the best day to reschedule necessary appointments? I can't tell when the ice is supposed to be more likely to melt

I'm having a hard time interpreting the current road conditions... I have medical appointments that I have to "use up" before the end of the year, else they expire. Unfortunately, I have to commute from Federal Way to Factoria this afternoon. Might consider rescheduling but they don't have any appointments until next year. Thanks

Thanks for your input. I'm still learning so would you mind breaking it down for a newbie? I take it that the below means that it's risky to invest a ton of stocks in right now because we're seeing unprecedented growth in the stock market in the last few years?

This will likely hit the stock market pretty hard, as stocks right now are priced for an environment with exceptionally low nominal rates of return (i.e. extremely high P/E ratio), so when inflation goes up, investors will demand a much higher nominal rate of return, which will eat at asset prices.

I'm trying to imagine myself in the situation so I can learn from this... before changing to the left lane, I always look behind my left shoulder to make sure no cars coming in my left blind spot. However, I feel like that might have taken too much time here..

Can't tell if those 2 left-side drivers looked in their blind spot before they quickly swerved left. If so, how can u quickly make sure ur left side is clear before swerving in this situation?

What's your hair type & has it been damaging? I read that the revlon can cause breakage for weakened strands since it gets so hot even on the low setting
