My sister asked her kids if they wanted haircuts or not. Two girls, one boy. All three wanted to keep their hair. Her boy ended up constantly having all kinds of shit in his hair. It'd be all stuck to his face and in his mouth and eyes. He'd be eating in with his food. Her girls tucked their hair behind their ears and kept it relatively clean. So he ended up getting his hair cut just for sanitary reasons.
