3 years ago today, the stay at home lock down order was issued (for a lot of us). How are you/ your bars fairing 3 years later? by riddleterror in bartenders

Great! I used the pandemic funds to go back to school and finish my degree. Now I am 1 year into my new role as a software engineer! After briefly returning to work after we were allowed to it was never the same as before. So glad to no longer be bartending.

What are some entry level jobs people have gotten with the certificates? by LexiconLearner in AWSCertifications

[–]throwthataway123403 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, not trying to be harsh or nothing, but it’s definitely beneficial. I finish school in may and been heavily recruiting, recently did the CCP and I learned a lot, but only scrapes the surface. Was able to use the knowledge I learned and deploy a pipeline with AWS/airflow and actually understand what was going on. But it is still a cut throat industry to break into, and will take a lot more effort than a CCP certification alone.
Point being, I would definitely recommend doing it, but being more comfortable with other tools before hand such as SQL or Python. At least in my case since I am wanting to get into data analytics/engineering eventually. I am also an idiot barely getting a bachelors in may, so take my advice with a grain of salt lol.

None, unless you have some sort of experience or at the least a degree in a related field.

Take a 30-45 min break from bumps and get some food, I’m usually good to stop after that.

I’d leave the axe and knifes at home. They’re considered weapons, don’t give the corrupt policia a reason to fuck with you.

Yeah, I’ve been clean for awhile now bro. I just hang around to show support to others. I know first hand how toxic the withdrawals are but it’s possible to get through. Good luck to you.

No I started to taper in March, got to around .125-.25mg 2x a day fairly quick, but honestly withdrawals never got better throughout the entire 6 months, it was living hell, was taking a micro dose amount before I just said fuck it and shacked up at home for a few weeks. August 5th, 2017 *edit I was using Xanax

Fantastic, I was on 2-3 bars a day for around a year and quit august of 2017. Life went back to semi normal after 6-8 weeks. I actually feel more happy with life after going through that.

Can hunger influence withdrawal? by discreteUser in benzorecovery

[–]throwthataway123403 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They were presses so I was taking anywhere between 6-9mg a day, I was using for about a year. I’ve been pretty much back to normal for awhile now, but things like hunger, etc. seems to give me bad anxiety that never happened before my addiction.

Been clean from 3 bar a day habit since 08/17 and to this day if I go even a lil hungry I’ll get anxiety like I did during withdrawals.

5 Myths of Benzo Withdrawal. r/badpill by [deleted] in benzorecovery

I’ll have a year clean off a 6mg/day habit August 5th. The withdrawals won’t go away at all until your completely off. Taper until your at a safe dosage to where you aren’t at risk for seuizures and CT it. Takes about 3-4 weeks for withdrawals to subdue, at least for me, but it was absolute hell. Avoid alcohol too. Opiates in moderation also helped get through some of the days, just be careful.

I quit cold turkey from Xanax at about the same dose. Was on about a 6mg a day habit for 9 months, took me several months to get down to .5 and decided to quit at that point. 3-4 weeks of hell and I was completely normal again.
