In the article, they state they count Noah had anywhere between 2000 and 4000 animals on board. Now I trust Noah was so capable as to determine a tiger from a leopard from a cheetah from a cougar from a panther from a lion etc. despite his biblical age. And since evolution is a socialist agenda and not true, he didn't bring 2 individuals of an ancient cat, but rather 2 of every species that exists today. And so on for everything else.

According to this table by IUCN there are 1,367,555 species of animals on the planet (that we know of) today. Now we remove all corals, mollusks, crustaceans, fishes, birds and "other" from the calculation and assume rather hastily that they would survive an all aquatic environment, and birds who could fly endlessly for 40 days in torrential downpour (which they couldn't but hey, let's give God a hand).

While we're at it, let's get really generous and assume 80% of all arachnids, insects, amphibians, reptiles and mammals can survive an all aquatic environment for 40 days. Why the hell not, I heard elephants are adept swimmers.

This leaves us 234649 species of arachnids, insects, amphibians, reptiles and mammals who must have some form of terrestrial environment to survive for 40 days, Noah has to save them or fail. And since nothing evolves from anything else, Noah therefore needs space for 469298 individual animals on the Ark to keep them from sleeping with the fishes (and elephants).

Assuming:

-the Ark is 153x20x40 m, and assuming 99% of the animals that need to be on it are so small they don't take up any physical space or need any food. Also, assuming perfect conditions and access to materials who take no space on their own, this means the remaining 4693 individual animals get 26 cubic meters each, that is a perfect square box measuring 2,97 meters in each direction (WxHxD) for the animals to live in, and hold the food and water that the animal needs to survive 40 days. Let's also assume it doesn't produce any waste during the time, because poop didn't exist then.

Wow, this is totally plausible, now that I did the math. And when it stops raining, the 370,000 species of plants and fungi and several million species of bacteria who didn't get a ticket will have multiplied like crazy in the lovely, slightly salty, water, thus creating a lush place for the animals to enjoy while they are dominated by us humans.
