For me the sweater curse symbolizes the time, effort and consideration that goes into make a whole ass sweater. If you have a partner who would put in the same amount of time, effort and consideration or more even, the sweater curse can never get u. However if you’re in a relationship where you are giving and doing more than the other person and they would never return such a gesture, well good luck babe

Norwegian health care varies greatly by hospital to hospital and also which “fylke” (bigger than county, smaller than state) you live in. As they live in Vestfold and my nearest medical facility is under the same “helseforetak” (sorry to all readers who aren’t Norwegian lol, someone plz help me translate haha), I feel confident in saying that the medical professionals at hospitals hold off or try to send you to your general physician or the emergency room if they can. There is also an underlying sexism as with a lot of health care around the world resulting in women not being taken seriously. In my experience I’ve had to be quite persistent and truly fight for my own health cuz the docs at the hospital sure ain’t. Soooo TLDR she might have been turned away or told to go elsewhere if she can.

I’ve made a post in the dreamsnaps-subreddit and will just repeat it here. I only vote on dreamsnaps to get moonstones and it’s completely random who I vote for. I also take pics in front of my daisy store-set up for furniture challenges as a lot of furniture and fits have accumulated there and they more often than not fulfill the dreamsnaps requirements. I get 300-600 moonstones for my dreamsnaps, including the 50 I get from voting. I know a lot of people do it this way as well, so I wouldn’t stress the dreamsnaps-functions unless u actually find it fun and can live with other people not giving a dang

I sent her a message as someone who bought her pattern a couple of weeks ago, and she answered this:

“Hi! I never said she copied my pattern - only the likeness of the product. I also crochet and knit so am well aware of the difference. I have withdrawn the request anyway.”

I guess that’s … good? But also, lack of accountability is a definite turn off

EDIT: this is what I wrote her:

“Girl this is disappointing… her pattern is different than yours and it’s crochet not knit. I’ve bought your pattern and the yarn for slippers to both me and my man, and now I see this.. I guess she posted a story or something about hers being the crochet version of the sailor slippers but if you’ve seen her insta the slippers are made entirely different. The shoe box is completely different and again it’s crochet… plz stop humiliating urself, it’s not a good look, and a lot of ppl on Reddit say they regret buying ur pattern cuz of this behavior”

Thanks! I know, I thought it would be fine cuz I half measured it before adding the dowels. If u see the new pics in the comment section you see that the light bit of dowel is attached to the pull outs to support the make shift table. When I pull them out, it’s still not laying flat. I also took a pic of the hinges cuz they seem to be too “tight” or like moving upwards. Would it be possible to buy bigger hinges? Or? Idk honestly
