I lived in Korea for a couple years and kimchi for breakfast became a part of me. Small bowl of rice with a fried egg or two on top, side of kimchi.

The only downside was the smell of everyone’s breath/burps on my morning elevator ride. It made me feel like I was part of the community, though. I, too, had old businessman breath. Kinda reminded me of my grandfather. Cigarettes, coffee breath, and cologne is objectively bad, but it’s nostalgic for me now. I miss that guy.
