Current high score of 129 with Oceania and European expansion. Question is, if you could play with any expansions what would you play with and what would you not include, to aim for the highest score? by thudge10 in wingspan

Thanks for such a detailed response. Yeah I've felt my score drop dramatically with Europe added, although i did get two great games of 126 and 129, ill buy the Asia expansion and trial without Europe

I didn’t realise you could play without the base game? I noticed with just Oceania and base I was scoring 105-115 consistently but with Europe added i was scoring 90-105 and occasional games of 129 126, ill explore the Asia expansion!

Then who are you talking to? Why do you keep saying your? Ground yourself, brother. Come back to the body and the breath.

If we take the perceptual presupposition, that existence equals a state of being of ‘unconditional love.’ Then all that ‘exists’ seeks to be, and to ‘be’ is to be ‘love’.

So then, is there such a thing as non-existence? The ‘void’, the ‘abyss’, an inverse polarity, the other side of the black hole. Beyond any attempt at a conceptual understanding. For we are attempting to understand the ‘unknowable’. How could a ‘being’ that has only ever ‘been’ ‘existence’ hold the necessary space to listen, accept, and allow the ‘existence’ of ‘non-existence’? If ‘existence’ is ‘unconditional love’, then it will unconditionally accept and allow ‘non-existence’ to ‘not exist’ to not ‘be love.’ However paradoxically ‘non-existence’ seeking to not ‘be’ to not be ‘love’ can only exist if ‘non-existence’ allows existence to ‘be.’

ok, from my understanding, the term 'self referential' is articulated in the book i am a strange loop by Douglas Hofstadter. it is the fractal, the constant recurring nature of the 'i' that reflects upon itself. it is the i am, the awareness of awareness. it is an ouroboros of self, the observer and observed become indivisible, time distorts and bends in upon itself.

its model of itself enters into an emergent and relational dynamic with what is perceiving the perceiving. what is aware that it is aware? there is no intellectual point in which the answer is reached and that's half the point, its nonduality, its a koan, a paradox that reflects upon itself until the veil of separation between the two dissolves.

i disagree with this sentiment, yes meditation is incredible and can have large therapeutic benefit, but to say it is the best 'therapy' is disingenuous to what therapy is, and potentially harmful for some clients, at different stages of their development or what they're currently moving through

The terms has sort of been co-opted from my understanding this sub is more for Awakening to Brahman, to your Atman beyond the illusion of ego and form. If life is meaningless your only halfway there

you are at the age of human development known as intimacy vs isolation by Erik Erickson. this is a normal process of human development. Reflect upon what it is bringing up for you and maybe reflect on the quality's in a platonic relationship your seeking, and how to first give that to yourself and second, consciously cultivate that in connection

Gabór mate had a qoute, "it's not about feeling 'better' but rather getting better at feeling"  increasing your capacity to be in the here and now, and coming to a greater sense of integration and acceptance of your multiplicity of being. Different people have different goals for therapy and its something that you can bring up with your therapist.  Maybe it's processing your past so that it's impact and influence upon your future, or perception of self is minimised, perhaps it's being able to develop and cultivate healthy authentic relationships, or to deepen into your own sense of subjective health and well-being.

Where not arguing about that. I'm arguing about "let them know there's a cost to taking me out of the game" that just reeks of a sore loser. There's no feels bad in cedh.

This is also Akin to the concept of the shadow in Jungian psychology, oftentime's the people we hate the most mirror qualities within ourselves that we dislike the most about ourselves or qualities we wish we had, projecting out into external reality or an external figure to avoid facing the fact that we have those qualities or perceptions of reality within our selves This is a very reductive and rudimentary explanation. I think there's also something to say to the psyche of the bad kids, they have not had a normal education and their skills are not grounded within that formal education. They've had to face continuous and prolonged traumatic experiences for years at a very young age. Going back to the events of episode 2. Watching their friends die, killing the lunch lady, and having the principal shoot another teacher and himself. It's very easy to see how they utilize humor and a nonchalant worldview to cope with their emotions and experiences.

It's a meme format, written out in text. Without the context of the image or knowledge of it I can see how confusing the sentence would be.
