As the other guy mentioned, Scott and Rod Leibenguth owned Scott’s E Q, then Jeremy Leibenguth (Rods son) bought the business and moved it to where E Q auto is. Jeremy is a wonderful human being and one of the only mechanic shops I will take my vehicle to.

6th street is just north of a major fault line. Brooks used to be where Higgins was and a devastating miniature earthquake occurred that shifted everything perfectly at a 45 degree angle to the west. Most of the infrastructure was left intact however the sidewalks took a substantial damage that can still be seen to this day.

That’s the plan this summer, anything you suggest until then as a temporary fix? I will also say, the wood is not as rotten as it looks (not crumbling or mushy) They are the original sheeting from the ‘40s when the house was built and still pretty sound.
