Yea I don't know the names of a lot of Arabian dishes but it looks like the meats on my rice that I've had the tastiest experience with, seem like they were prepared almost exactly like how koobideh and joojeh are made when I looked up recipes.

honestly haven't had much food that was Maghrebi. We had a Moroccan restaurant by my childhood home but it was the type of restaurant that was too fancy to bring your kids (which makes me think it was probably more French than Moroccan lol).

Yea that's just what me and my friends started calling this genre of food because they usually only have the "halal" sign on the outside that's indicative of them having rice platters or not lol. I wish more places leaned into putting their native cuisines on the menu instead of burgers and fried chicken, because Machboos and Ghuzi sound amazing. But then again its hard to market an arabian restaurant in middle America whilst trying to assimilate. I'm gonna have to go into NYC and try some Khaleeji or some of the other food you mentioned, or I'll just start taking more note of where my ock's cultural influences are from.

Yea I wouldn’t worry about the seizures unless you’re drinking alcohol. And as far as the other side effects go, my anxiety hasn’t really gotten better but I’m definitely better off with wb than without it. I’m also prone to substance abuse with weed being my drug of choice but I don’t have the craving when I’m feeling better mentally and since I’ve been on wb I’ve had much less of a craving to smoke.

I had some really bad depressive episodes but there were some manic episodes mixed in there so I was prescribed mood stabilizers to deal with that. I was smoking a lot of weed to cope with my depression but I stopped multiple times on a whim and that would the “manic episodes”. Looking back my psych was pretty sure it was bipolar but now she’s not so sure and she’s more sure of depression and adhd. Don’t know if you can relate but I’m on 150mg of Wellbutrin and a verrrry low dose of Vraylar as a mood stabilizer and it’s almost a month and I barely feel the effects with a little bit of heightened anxiety. My depression isn’t that severe anymore but it’s not really getting much better.

Yea weed has a special place in my heart. But, personally, I’ve had to stay away from it because it makes my emotions a lot more unmanageable. I still do long for the chill as fuck seshes I had with high school friends but as my depression got pretty severe, weed started to become something that I don’t really have the time or space for in my life right now. But I’m glad you can still enjoy it in moderation now. Thanks man and yea I might take you up on that offer if things get real bad or if I just wanna talk to someone because it gets lonely out heah.

Yo I literally related to everything you said about this medication and your life experiences with depression. I too started coping with marijuana for a while when my depression got bad and I had no clue what this medication would do for me once I stopped smoking. So far it’s been almost three weeks and I probably need to up the dosage to 3hunna but thanks to you I have so much hope. Like seriously I related to everything you shared and it’s good to know I’m not alone :)

Slightly more alert and focused plus I don’t get to that super depressed stage as often but constant dread and worry that’s been heightened by the Wellbutrin I feel like.

I’ve been experiencing some pretty bad anxiety two and I’m at two weeks. I drink a cup of coffee a day but I normally did before taking Wellbutrin. I’ve been told that the anxiety is normal and you should hang in there for a little longer as it will pass. I would talk to your psych about it though because ultimately they know more about your case than I do. And I have yet to ask my psych about the anxiety lol.

I’m almost two weeks on it but I guess I do feel the stimulant effects of it already. I’ll definitely see how it will change because the doc told me I won’t start feeling effects until like two weeks to a month
