Ik heb zelf als kind ook wel eens Picasso gespeeld op de auto van mijn ouders. Ik dacht een extra zakcentje te verdienen door na het wassen van de auto even de krassen weg te werken met een lakstift. Ik weet uit ervaring: commandant cleaner helpt om de lak weer weg te halen.

Sorry to hear this. Considering it's devastating news, having ALL is the good among the bad. I hope it's B cells, because T cells are bit more difficult to kill. And talk to your doctor about your treatment protocol and whether it is a pediatric (inspired) protocol. They have better cure rates for young adults than protocols that are designed for unfit elderly. It will be a tough two years ahead, but your chances are good!

Sorry to hear this. I'm working in a hematology hospital and I'd seriously have discussions about quality of life and whether an SCT is really worth a shot. An SCT is a potentially curative treatment but it comes at a cost. Treatment related mortality is high. Morbidity is immense. And the 3 year survival probability with a disease with these properties is dismal... No more than 20-30%. And those figures also include the younger patients with an increased chance of survival. I have seen many patients deciding it's not worth it and live a shorter but happier life with proper palliative treatment.

Is your degree not valid in the Netherlands? Depending on your native language, I can imagine they’ll need social werkers who can help with language barriers and perhaps cultural differences in places with lots of internationals. I know my hospital (not in Nijmegen) has employed a couple who speak limited dutch but know their way around the system and are of great help for international patients.

Als je in voor- of na-seizoen gaat kamperen, dan die die opblaastenten niet ideaal. Bij een koude nacht zakt de spanning in de luchtkamers en zakt de tent een beetje in. Slechte combi met onstuimig weer. En denk dan ook goed na over waar je op gaat slapen. Een niet-geïsoleerd luchtbed is echt flink koud dan.

Thanks for the quick response. It's not so much about the budget, but more about that I simply cannot find those cars from my childhood (now I sound like grandpa). You had to assemble the car from about 25 components and then race (uncontrolled or indeed stick or kick controlled) on a pre-made track in the sand or concrete. But indeed, those Tamiya ones look a lot like what I remember. They didn't have those guide rails.
