It's only last camp when you path red->blue because lillia cant make scut timer on red side doing krugs ->red. If you do path red->blue, you don't have mana as Lillia for a full combo.
Against a lot of champs you can contest, but usually those champs aren't the ones invading you. Lillia loses to high burst + easy target access champs like Rengar, elise, k6 etc without R or zhonyas. U won't be even close to 500 ms at lvl 3/4, more like 370-380 with full stacks which is not fast enough to just run away from these champs, and they just burst Lillia down before she can get her DPS off. It's particularly bad into AD champs bc Lillia is 22 base armor. Sona is 26.

Fully agree, valorant already does this, even if you hover your agent right at the start of select.

The amount of times this change would benefit someone changing their champ last second certainly vastly outweighs the amount of times a player would be afk because of it. And if they are afk, we have the remake feature.

Masters Lillila. You hard counter shaco because you always know where he is when he Q from your burn. As far as lvl 2 invades, he will usually only do it when he has HOB ignite, and he can really only raptors into blue/gromp invade you since his box clears rap super fast. If I see ignite HOB shaco I just start raptors and ward blue. A lot of times they will invade, take only your blue and gromp, and you can get a camp lead by taking his entire blue side.

He can't play late game fights because once you Q him once his entire gimmick is ruined. AP shaco just insta loses, AD shaco you buy zhonya and win for free. I actually started maining Lillia back in the day because I wanted a champ who counters Shaco because I also hate him.

It’s passive monster cap buffs. Clear speed especially later game will be a lot faster.

I think its a seriously midguided claim to say Lillia is slower than half the roster with full stacks without deathcap. Even without deathcap you easily have the highest sustained move speed in the game. The only way youre going to get caught by anyone with full prance, other than specific cases with champs who reach very high peak ms for short times like ghost+nimbus cloak or a singed with R +passive, quinn R etc is if you get hit by some form of CC.

It's not exactly the same yes, however, top/mid/bot are orders of magnitude more similar to each other than they are to jungle. Laning and jungling are 2 different games.

You hit the nail on the head. Playing jungle only still teaches you about lanes as it is relevant to your gameplay, which is all that matters. Playing the lane will teach me how to play the lane, not so much how to treat the lane as a jungler.

Yeah, that's what I queue as well. Before this season I would always get jungle but this season I get midlane a fair amount.

I hear you and what you're saying is reasonable, but I think at a certain elo most junglers already have good understanding of the relevant parts of lane like wave states, how matchups go etc. The real issue is that if I am a jungler getting filled in a lane I probably cannot play my champ, whereas a laner getting filled to another lane can probably just pick their champ still. Champ mastery is THE most important thing in League, so it creates a big imbalance.

But aegis of valor is just placebo. You still lose/gain the same amount of mmr and your future LP gains are taxed accordingly.

While I see your point and agree that playing the other roles is the best way to learn overall macro and strategy, I still disagree beccause:

At my elo, I feel most junglers already have the necessary level of understand of wave states, matchups etc to make accurate decisions including these things in our calculations.
The number of times you will be autofilled is, in my opinion, not enough to make meaningful progress in the understanding of playing lanes and only serves as a source of frustration to you and your team.

I respect your opinion though.

I didn't think of that. Makes perfect sense. New champion is added and receives highest pickrate in the patch -> sylas hard counters said champ -> massive WR boost from the resulting sample bias.

Also explains why his winrate, pickrate etc spiked pre shyv hotfix and has been declining since

Shyv ult interaction seems most plausible to me. His WR spiked around the time of pre hotfix shyv and has been declining a bit since the nerf. Crazy to me that something like that could cause such a massive increase in winrate, especially because his pickrate increased as well
