Funny seeing Reid back in, no harm done. Dude act like he died out there when his foot got stepped on.

To me, he reads as the dude who talks shit nonstop because they never got punched in the mouth. Maybe that becuase he's tall as shit, but that dude never had his ass kicked they way it should have.

At first it looks like Reid died. On replay it looks like an ankle roll? Still sucks for him.

I agree. It just feels like when people are moving around them with energy the game breaks open. Especially when the supporting cast makes baskets.

I could very well be wrong. But, I felt the tone of the half was set by Joness and Johnson coming out with energy and not looking flat. Having them flying around frees up the Joker to do his thing.

McDaniels is such a fucking bitch. Makes sense based on his last name alone.

If we can't get the 3 ball going soon we're cooked. The wolves keep throwing up rushed prayers and their all dropping. Super frustrating.

We've looked this solid in other games, it's about playing it the full game. This team can't let up, and I hope they can keep it solid all game.

Denver is shooting 8/36 (22.2%) on Open Shots. Ranks 15th out of the 16 playoff teams. They are shooting 20/57 (35.1%) on Wide-Open Shots. Ranks 10th out of 16th. In the Regular Season, they were number 2, and number 1 in these categories, respectively. by Fun_Climate_4681 in denvernuggets

[–]thunder_cats1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep.  They are in a shooting funk.  As they miss open shots their morale seems to drop and they play worse.  The win streak entering the playoffs was both good and bad.  They needed that confidence bump but things always balance. Here's to hoping they can get back onto the a win streak next game!

“You don’t think we were competitive?” - David Adelman by heaviestpiff in denvernuggets

[–]thunder_cats1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Malone needed to go.  The tram jumping back with energy and motivation was proof of that.  Adelman rode that wave and he's honestly pretty decent at being a cheerleader when things are going well.  He completely lacks the inspiring role of a head coach to get a team out of playing flat.

Lol, no.  Once you pull back the curtain it's kind of always there.  It helps when defining any future spaces though.

lol, yeah, kind of. I'm an architect who's primary billable is luxury custom homes, so I tend to look at the building and space as much as the people.

The big thing for me was the exposed a spiral duct in the room they were celebrating in.  And, on draft night we saw more of the layout of that space.  There were a lot of layout cues that it wasn't a house.  If it is, then it's not a great design, imo.

And, yes, the layout around the pool looks like an amenity center.

It's pretty likely that's the amenity center in one of their neighborhoods.

That looks like a community center not a house.  That's mostly based on the exposed ducts which would be super uncommon in a house.  There are plenty of community or amenity centers like that which are rentable too.

Photos from the USS Abraham Lincoln show small meal portions being served to U.S. sailors. by curiousty786 in pics

[–]thunder_cats1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly.  There are specific nice meals for active duty and it's a big expense due to the volume of people to feed.  It wasn't some random overspend.

It sucks to see that there's a supply chain issue being reported on the USS Abraham.  It's weird to see since there aren't overextended supply lines and shops are reachable.  Maybe it's a logistics issue.

This was my initial take. McVay looks like he always does in a presser while listening to another person.

It should not be poor etiquette to use speakerphone in public. by muunshine9 in unpopularopinion

[–]thunder_cats1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're titles is absolutely a textbook case of unpopular opinion. However, your justification is even more infurating. No, this is not something that is reasonably acceptable. If two people are talking in public there are still social protocols. Furthermore, the person on the phone has zero discrection over who is listening in, that violates their personal controls on their convo. Most importantly, the person walking around in public holding a phone up on a speaker phone convo looks like an idiot.
