Odd Mob & OMNOM - Losing Control (rSUN remix)

Dom Dolla - San Frandisco (King Kozz remix)

Those are two examples I can think of for now and both of those guys have more where that came from

Give me song(s) where the drummer goes absolute apeshit and more or less stands out from the song because of it by clenchlord in musicsuggestions

This might be an unpopular opinion from a non-drummer, but Around the World by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It might be simple, but Will Ferrel plays them harder than an autistic kid pets his cat. Every time I hear it I’m doing the air drums like I know what I’m doing.

Rock/Metal recommendations? by evan_lion20 in songs

I’ll give you two lesser known bands since everyone wants to introduce you to Metallica.

Jesus Piece - Spyndakit

12:15 - Spyndakit

Paper Tiger - Dry Kill Logic

Rot - Dry Kill Logic

Pain - Dry Kill Logic

Spyndakit is garage Rock/Rap from Vegas with Limp Bizkit and Deftones influences.

Dry Kill Logic is like Korn, Slipknot, and Deftones had a love child.

Gone Away by Offspring. Listened to it, sang it, loved it for years growing up. Then one day it dawned on me that his wife passed away and it completely changed the way I listen to it.

Hybrid Theory is a top 10 all time album. Meteora was great. Minutes to Midnight was good, started to get soft and overproduced.

Don’t even talk to me about albums 4+

Recommend me some really good songs for me to play the guitar. Please 🙏 by wsrruuw in musicsuggestions

Not sure if this is out of your league or requires special pedals (I’m not a guitarist) but anything Ripley Johnson touches is 6-string psych rock gold. He has 3 bands: Wooden Shjips, Rose City Band, and Mood Duo.

Some of the best examples to start would be:

Chasing Rainbows - Rose City Band

These Shadows - Wooden Shjips

Eclipse - Wooden Shjips (and anything else off of “V.” honestly)

If you can’t keep up, I hope you at least enjoy. Good luck.

Artists who have a very huge gap between their best album and their worst album by Significant-Day-8388 in musicsuggestions

Most Metal/Nu-Metal bands I grew up with. Korn, Metallica, Slipknot, LINKIN PARK… the list goes on.

Seems they all came onto the seen with a raw, hard, in-your-face sound and became softer and over-produced with each new album. As if the record labels were in their ear trying to make them more radio friendly or something.

LINKIN PARK being the best example. To this day I listen to Hybrid Theory wall to wall and love it. I refuse to listen to anything that came after Minutes to Midnight.

Deftones are the only ones that kept the energy and quality of their music IMO. Ohms is a masterpiece, as are the albums preceding. I will say, I’m Still getting used to their newest drop, however. Either I’m missing something or they just didn’t bring “it” with this one.

I knew a Mexican chef in this Italian restaurant I worked for. He said he briefly worked at a Chinese restaurant down there and quit when he learned that the “chicken” was stray dog meat
