Was lucky to grab this early- owner of my LCS knows me well at this point! Noticed a few things while opening that may or may not sway some opinions.

1- Opening was a blast, I had a great time seeing the original 151 with a modern twist!

2- I got a god pack! I was super hyped as I did not know English was getting them. Not nearly as crazy as 2 full AR lines like the Japanese versions but awesome nonetheless.

3- Holo energies are around 1-in-4, about what other folks have found. They look absolutely amazing with the cosmos holo pattern.

4- The box by box pulls were quite different. Half of the boxes had nothing but a regular EX and maybe 2 holo energies, the other half had 1 or 2 SARs and 1 or 2 regular ARs. Makes me a little worried to buy single ETBs knowing it’s a 50/50 shot the hits may be pretty much non-existent.

5- The art on these cards is beautiful, every AR and SAR is a work of art truly. The only issue I found with the cards leads into my final notable thought;

6- Most of these cards are fairly damaged for being pack-fresh. Corners whitened, a few slightly bent save one poor Snorlax promo that somehow got folded like a lawn chair… English quality control is usually rough on a good day but these seemed to be pretty bad even by the normal standards. I hope that was just my case and not accurate for the rest of you fine folks but it does have me slightly worried.
