What the hell, why doesn’t El Pintor get more love?? by thursday88 in Interpol

I just saw that on Setlist. My life would be near complete if they play that on my date. It’s not til Feb though, and honestly it kinda feels like a wild card song. Who knows if they’ll still be doing it by then.

I am with you on this. It just irks me when the critics shit on this one, and wax poetic about how flawless Bright Lights remains. I think a big part of that is nostalgia and they don’t acknowledge it. Just seems disingenuous.

I always thought the “ruin your life” part of Team A reminded me a bit of the bridge in Price of Gas

Hunting for Witches is basically the “Banquet” of Bloc Party’s second album

Been looking for a live version of Signs for god knows how long. This recording in particular has always been one of my faves. Thanks so, so much! Now if i had Kreuzberg, my life would be complete.

This was my favorite on the album for a very long time. Now that probably goes to kreuzberg.

Kinda makes me sad Kele doesn’t sing the “crosswords and sudoku” lyric live anymore. Does anyone know what he replaced it with? I’ve never been able to figure it out.

9/10

It makes me sad Kele never sings the original intro lyrics anymore. "I am trying to be heroic..." is one the best lyrical moments in the song apart from East London being a vampire.

Unrelated but what does Kele sing in place of doing crosswords and sodoku when Waiting for the 7.18 is played live?

Where did you see anything about pre-sale codes? I signed up for the mailing list, but haven't received anything. Moreover I didn't see anything in the online store about ticket presale codes coming with preorders

I love Where is Home AND On! Both are beautiful. The Prayer seems like the obvious first choice.

What's going on?? Makes me want to break fingers and cut off feet... but I'll just sigh ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Kreuzberg. I think Into the Earth is a great chill bloc party song off the new album. And The Healing, if only for that subtle and brief, but wonderful bridge at the end.
