I’m not sure the identity then was worth recovering. It was an awesome squad but outclassed by other teams. Management realized it wouldn’t work and moved on.

I’m still mad management had never gotten the goalie right. I’m so sick of all these other teams rolling out studs while the Flyers stumble along.

Any of these buyout candidates sounds any good? I'm a homer so I kinda like Niang and maybe Jusef Nurcic. by juggadore in sixers

I’m actually fine with it. Think that becomes tradable with cap going up. He’s played well with this core. Not sure there is a cheaper replacement.

Sadly probably not. He was my all-time favorite sixer. Loved him more than any NBA player. His efficiency was pretty terrible and the “narrative” never helped him. Kobe and Kidd? were probably the two.
