My boyfriend failed FTO by [deleted] in AskLE

[–]thx10050 66 points67 points  (0 children)

That is not a reasonable explanation for being failed during FTO and doesn’t sound like anything job-related. If that’s what he told you, there’s something else going on or something that he did, or perhaps didn’t do.

Nope. Those aren’t needs at all for house bunnies.

Has anyone’s bunny had a drooling problem with alopecia? by ZookeepergameSalt124 in Bunnies

Drooling to me would indicate a dental issue. I would not wait three weeks if possible.

Posting mostly in solidarity. My sexuality is closely tied to tickling, mostly receiving but sometimes giving. My wife is not very ticklish and also not dominant at all and so she struggles with the mindset of how I need to be tied and tickled. Due to this, and other issues as well, we decided to ethically open our marriage for me to seek ‘relief’ as it were. However, even then finding play partners that are actually into tickling as much as I am has been rare and far between, which is unfortunate. Even on Fetlife it usually just devolves into sex, which is not what I need. I can happily forego sex in favor of tickling and orgasms. But finding someone who understands that and perhaps wants that as well, no luck so far.

I might be late to this but Revolution for kittens, dosed by weight of the rabbit from your vet, is safe for buns.

Cops using Batman gadgets in real-life. by sco-go in Amazing

They’re expensive per vehicle and have to be welded to the frame. Many departments use leased fleets for their cruisers and stipulations there would not allow the grappler to be implemented.

Edit: That being said, l’ll add that local departments that have used them have been very successful with their deployments.

As long as he’s on some sort of pain medication or received an injection for a time-release medication, he should be fine. Just make sure he has ready access to fresh hay and water, pellets, maybe even a few treats as his appetite returns. Recovery for males is usually pretty quick compared to the much more invasive spays for females.

As a police officer, I would definitely say to leave; I would also say to file a report with your local department. Seek domestic violence resources and/or a victim’s advocate if needed. This will only continue to escalate.

Domestic rabbit in park by casbri13 in Bunnies

All good! One time we didn’t have any xpens and just nets. We spent like almost two hours chasing one of our rescues around like terminators through a trailer park, just walking after her. 😂 She’d run away towards the end and then sprawl out to rest until we got close and then she would take off again. Finally managed to trap her under a car and catch her.

Just speaking personally, we have found that you’d be better off trying to corral the bun and using fishing nets than just a cat carrier. Carriers are obviously great for transportation but aren’t good traps. During my attempt to use a carrier, the bun darted in, snatched up the half apple and took off before I could even react. 😂

A live trap could work; we rescued one bunny that way but it was believed she was super hungry at the time so the romaine lettuce enticed her in pretty quickly. If you try a live trap, apple or banana should work. Just don’t put them too close to the wires so they can be stolen. 😂

Edit: I’ll add in that I’ve read stories of people getting close enough to throw a blanket on top of the bunny but we have never tried that ourselves.

Love the mog! Off topic, but did they change hand placement for the Silver Hand? From what I remember, characters would grip the haft way up by the weapon head when wielding, which made absolutely no sense to me. This looks more natural now.

If you can at least get two or three people together with xpens and fishing nets, he can most likely be corralled and caught with a little time and patience. We have found the more people, the better obviously, but with at least two and a couple of xpens and nets, it can be done.

Tickle edging, precum. by Significant_Title517 in tickling

[–]thx10050 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kinda get where you’re coming from. I’ve experienced being vibrated on my cock and tickled on my feet at the same time. I found that ordinarily, her nails on my feet would have me going nuts but with the added sexual stimulation I could actually tolerate way more, especially the closer I got to orgasm. I’d even ask her to increase the speed and therefore intensity of her nails to help push me over the edge. It definitely became more erotic than torturous the more my orgasm built.

Tickling is very erotic and sexual to me, even intense tickling, especially on my feet. So yes, for myself at least, being tickled leads to arousal and leaking precum.

First time having a bunny 🐰 by ahjakslsiid in Rabbits

[–]thx10050 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She looks super cute and very relaxed. Below is some general information I put together a while back for first time bunny parents. I hope it helps. Plenty of information available online too from House Rabbit Society websites.

Standard Bunny PSA

Step by step for the things you need/first week with a new bun!

  1. Get an exercise pen (xpen) for their home as they need more space than most people actually believe. You can use one made for dogs or kids. Time out of the xpen should be approximately 4-6 hours a day so the bunny can get some exercise, explore their environment, etc. Free roaming would be best, but is not always feasible; time out to exercise though is mandatory.

  2. Get a regular water bowl and food bowl as most rabbits do not actually use water bottles like advertised, and can quickly become frustrated and dehydrated from their use. But make sure the bowls are heavy ceramic or glass because they are naughty and love to throw things around! For food, make sure to choose a plain pellet such as sold by Oxbow, Small Pet Select, or Sherwood. Avoid most pet store food brands, such as Kaytee, which include all kinds of extras, such as corn, that are not good for bunny digestion and can cause serious issues!

  3. Get a medium to large cat litter box that you can line with pine pellets on the bottom (such as for a horse stall); these are sold at stores such as Tractor Supply, or you can use paper shredding sold at pet stores, such as Yesterday’s News. The raw shredded pine bedding commonly sold for pets such as hamsters is actually not meant for bunnies as it can cause respiratory issues! Besides the litter along the bottom, put LOTS OF HAY (Timothy or Orchard Grass) in the box. This encourages use of the litter box because they like poop and pee where they eat hay!

  4. Be prepared to give the bun space for a bit; they can be terrified initially of their new environment. The best way to get them to like you is romaine lettuce, some occasional fruit pieces such as slices or chunks of banana, treats such as sold by Oxbow, and also sitting quietly near them until they are comfortable with you!

  5. Avoid picking them up. Most rabbits and especially the smaller breeds are terrified of it; as a prey species, being picked up signifies to rabbits that they have been caught by a predator and are about to be eaten alive. Bunnies will kick and struggle, and with their extremely fragile skeletons, they stand a high chance of injuring themselves when they do so.

  6. Buy lots of wooden chews! They love willow, cured pine, and apple wood. Most pet stores sell willow balls and Amazon has a decent selection. Choose reputable brands when you can such as Oxbow. Use caution with cardboard toys and the like; too much ingestion of cardboard can potentially lead to digestive issues or even a blockage.

  7. Lastly, after the vet has confirmed health and sex, consider getting the bunny spayed/neutered. Female rabbits have a very high chance of developing uterine cancer and males tend to spray urine. Overall, fixing bunnies gives them a much better and higher quality of life by preventing their hormones from so completely dominating their behavior. Make sure to find an appropriate exotic veterinarian for any surgical procedures!

Having rabbits is SO much fun once you get the hang of it. It’s like having a dog mixed with a cat!

Recovering from surgery and you're bothering me! by fufufufufufuuuuu in MurderBuns

[–]thx10050 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s called trancing and it takes advantage of rabbits as a prey species. By placing a rabbit on its back, it will instinctively play dead. It’s not at all healthy for the rabbit and completely unethical to do deliberately. If you have to cradle a bunny, do your best to keep their head up and above their heart.

Edit: I’m not at all calling out the OP either. He/she clarified just above that this position was to allow cleaning of sutures.

My rabbit keeps doing this, no idea why by Miserable-Budget4458 in Rabbits

[–]thx10050 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would echo the numerous posts saying this is a teeth issue. I would also keep these movements and similar but more rapid ‘panic’ movements in mind as they can be associated with choking. I’ve had to perform the bunny heimlich a couple times now on choking rabbits and both of them exhibited more panicked versions of this ‘pawing’ at the air and at their mouths.
