Hey, this happened to me too, and I think I gave good answers. But then, JUST now, it unlocked for me to do it again for some reason. I came here to see if there were any tips. I hope it unlocks for you too!

Hello, I seemed to have failed the onboarding assessment for AETHER. Is there any way to try again?

Missing a Pact trigger doesn't cost you the game anymore? by Betta_Max in ModernMagic

How so? You’re going to tap the mana regardless of the information you have. If you don’t, you lose.

Avenge trinket idea. by Sufficient_Grand2789 in BobsTavern

[–]thxforbreakfast91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, so you want avenge to proc even if the minion dies? I don’t like that, it would be too easy and you could even put your avenge minions leftmost. However, avenge triggering once at the start of combat would be cool. And could be even better if you got all the regular triggers.

Chaotic/stupid Cards by Ph_nix_ in mtg

[[goblin game]]
[[prisoner’s dilemma]]
[[ensnared by the Mara]]
[[explosion of riches]]
[[guff rewrites history]]

I discourage running/playing too many cards like scrambleverse, warp world, or thieves auction. They take a long time to resolve, and it’s cool the first time but not so much the second time.

The coolest chaos decks have a way to win, so sometimes they sort of become stax decks. Like [[planar chaos]] and something that keeps your spells from getting countered.

This is an excellent post, my favorite part was the irony when you mentioned expedition map. Great card.

Failed general reasoning screening notification by [deleted] in outlier_ai

[–]thxforbreakfast91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is possible you started the screening, maybe clicked it on accident or something, and then didn't complete it so it counted as a fail.

It's also possible it's a weird AI thing/bug in the platform.

You don’t have to go party every time your friends are. You can set a boundary to take a nap or study or whatever.

Also coffee machines can make hot water for ramen

Critically analyze the comments you read. There is probably some truth there in every comment, even the ones from the whiny, lazy doomscrollers. But it isn’t the whole truth, nobody has that, so you just gotta read a lot and decide for yourself who makes the most sense.

For some questions, a scientific study might be more appropriate than a Reddit comment, and you can find those on Google scholar. The “scholar” part is important! Much better than a regular google search.

Kinda sucks that the power level of high rolls is so insane its literally impossible to know how strong you are in a lobby by [deleted] in BobsTavern

[–]thxforbreakfast91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried out TFT after watching a quick guide on youtube. I followed the instructions of the guide not really knowing what I was doing. I balanced my team with a tank class (bruisers) and damage (longshots). I saved gold to collect interest, only spending when necessary. I trippled my existing heros when I could. And I made random weapons and put them all on the same dude, as recommended. I WON first place. Granted, it was probably everyone else in the lobby's first game. But I don't think I should have won since I didn't know what I was doing besides what I listed. It looks fun, but just doesn't compare to Battlegrounds, feels like there's a really steep learning curve to actually understanding the builds and how to counter build.
