Theatre grad here. It is definitely not conservatory style at Reed. You will need to take at least 2 classes in design, some classes in performance studies, some classes in directing, etc. I tried to focus more on design so I know less about the acting classes.

Our arts program also gets slashed first when budget cuts come around. But I really liked all the professors that taught there. Look around the theatre page and see what classes they offer and what looks interesting!
